What can you do to avoid this situation?

If find yourself in a situation where you and/or your children suffer physical, emotional, or financial abuse you cannot avoid an action, and delaying taking action will only place you and your family at a greater risk of harm.

You cannot avoid an action, if you are unhappy, and for whatever reason you feel there is no other viable solution.

There is no way to avoid the situation if someone files a divorce, or family law action of any kind against you.  You must take action and you must accept that in order to rectify the situation, you must be proactive and you must seek legal advice.
